NGP at 27 Years: As Passionate As Day One

2024 marks the 27th year of NGP IMC. 

It is not considered a milestone anniversary – not in the same sense as a silver or a golden anniversary. But as we look at the future with renewed enthusiasm and commitment, we consider it a milestone worth celebrating.

Foremost, we celebrate the organization’s growth. 2024 marked increased client investments which our team has turned into impactful campaigns. 

To our valued clients who continue to entrust us with their campaigns, you are a blessing to us. NGP’s continued commitment is to successfully realize your business dreams and goals. Together, we can achieve them!

To our media partners, without whom we could never realize our campaign goals, you have our deepest respect and gratitude. I have had the honor of working with you throughout most of my professional life. I have seen the way our landscape has transformed, and it is truly a privilege for the NGP team to be able to contribute to shaping it for the better. As PR and IMC professionals, our commitment to our traditional and new media friends is to continue being a strong partner and ally in providing newsworthy, truthful, and impactful pieces.

And to my NGP team: behind and beyond results, “page views”, and other quantitative metrics, my personal metric for success is the positive and proactive contributions you have made. In my book, these remain incalculable.

At 27 years, we also celebrate the future.

It gives me pause that some of our clients, employees, and the majority of our audiences were not even born when our company was first established! It also fills me with anticipation and excitement about what’s to come. 

Public relations has evolved from the concept of “publicizing to the market” to now “engaging individuals and communities to create impact”. How far we’ve all come!

Now more than ever, we can turn our clients’ marketing goals into narratives that resonate with relevant audiences. Our industry keeps churning out creative, thoughtful executions never before seen or done – all in an effort to connect to their consumers, followers, fans, and subscribers. 

It is this reality that makes me confident that PR – and NGP IMC’s place within this thriving industry – will carry on, as passionate as day one!

As the sector moves into a new era of AI and other digital innovations, new benchmarks will be set. We are preparing our team with the tools and resources needed to competently and responsibly navigate this new world. As your businesses innovate, we’ll be right there with you.

Amid all the changes and chances we’ve been blessed with all these 27 years, with all the lessons that have fortified our operations, one thing has remained constant. This is one thing I will always keep in mind: it is that God has always granted us His favour. We offer our most profound thanks to Him, who has always guided the company in ways both quiet and thunderous. 

It is written in Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

NGP IMC holds on to this promise. Whatever plans are in store for us, whatever role we play in creating impact in the lives of the Filipino people through our campaigns, we know that this is all spurred on by a God-given commitment to uphold the best of PR.
